Earthquakes and Climate Change
The tsunami in Japan may be the greatest disaster to strike that country sense World War 2. It is estimated that the death toll will fall in to the tens of thousands. The tsunami wave was generated by a magnitude 8.9 earthquake off of the east coast of Japan. What kind of long term effects does an earthquake of this magnitude have on the global environment?
